OUR FIRST STOP - TAPAH - FOR BRUNCH

We had "kon lo mee", chicken rice and asam laksa. Price was cheap tho, but not the chicken rice. 4 bowls of noodles costs less than RM10...mana mau cari in the city? No wonder Jenny thought the waitress counted wrongly!!

After makan, we took a slow stroll along Tapah street, bought some biscuits and stuffs and we continued our journey. We drove all the way, non-stop, to Ipoh...and used the Simpang Pulai exit, but again we were lost, until today, we can't figured out which junction that we have missed....that resulted us a big round before we found the road to Cameron - with the help of an "Ah Kong" from the local petrol station!

The drive was fun fun fun (for me, the driver)..winding but smooth..but I guess my passengers do had a hard time swaying left and right - 5 kids at the back of my Persona. Anyway, they managed to catch some sleep.

Ours were triple rooms, with huge bed. Not too spacious in terms of walkway in the room. With rating from 1-10, I would give this hotel a 7. Dishes served during breakfast was a wide varities - nasi lemak, fried mee, fried meehoon, poRridge, cereals, bread, fruits...etc!!

We had steamboat for trunch. The most "sien" steamboat we ever had. Imagine boiling a pot of soup without fire...yes! That's exactly what I meant. Anyway, I enjoyed more of the FRIENDS I was with.

This truly is a nice farm - a MUST visit! No need entrance fees (as per our visit lar) and we hope it will remained entrance FOC lor!

THE STREET OF BRINCHANG

so unlike the city, congested, polluted, unsafe and everybody rushing against time.

The Star Regency - the hotel I stayed in with my family when we were there end 2009. Ask me if I will stay here again - NOT unless they renovate and change their menu. Rate from 1-10, a 3.5 - the .5 is a bonus from me!!

We tot we never going to find this place. First it was raining, 2nd it was so further away from where we stayed and the signboard was not so visible. At end we visited this place on our way back to KL. It was wonderful. Below were all the shots that I could managed with my limited battery.
