An Evening of Dance Enchantment

When I was informed of the concert, it never occur to me that would involved so much of hard work, training and sacrificing of Sundays. The training and rehearsal took up much energy from both girls and moms ~ the training has been a hectic 3 months ~ but all is worth it!!

The concert was held at Dewan Tunku Abdul Rahman @ Malaysia Tourism Centre (MaTic), Jalan Ampang. Quite a beautiful place, but it would be much better if signage was put up to guide the parents to the hall. We didn't managed to take any pics when we reached the place cos' it was really mad rush. After dropping the girls, we drove out to buy food all the way at Lot10, but Jenny couldn't find anything in the shopping mall, so she ended up walking out to the opposite McD.

By the time we got back to the girls, it was extremely late cos' we took the wrong road - pai seh lo!!

Anyway, we took pics after the concert and the lighting and decors were beautiful!

By the time it's Anvie turn, time was really running out, and Jenny's hands were trembling..ha ha ha..I helped little cos' I myself don't make-up, but managed to spread some colors onto Joey's lips!!

Mei Leng popo was very disappointed cos' her grand daughter hid the carnation behind her. It was so thoughtful of my mom to buy the girls flowers and I salute her bravery to walk up stage to the give the flowers to the girls.

It would be so nice too if the school has thought of giving each performer a little gift of appreciation - just like bouquets of flowers were given to the teachers.

The girls with their ballet teacher, who is one of the performer too. I personally would like to give a thumb-up to her for her effort & patience to Joey & Anvie. She make a good dancer too! She danced so gracefully!! Bravo to them all!

23 January was also Henry's Birthday. Shawn & Anvie gave him a shirt as pressie.

After the concert, we had our dinner at mamak near our home. Joey and Anvie was so hungry that they gulped down their food without a word!!

What missing for the day was a birthday cake and song for Henry!!
